As the last full week of the Fall Semester comes to a close there are so many options to come out and support our USD 480 students as they showcase their talents. Tonight caps off a busy day with the home opener for the LHS Varsity Basketball teams against Wichita North starting at 5:30 in "The Big House" and today over 60 USD 480 band students have been preparing for the Five State Honor Band Concert that will be tonight at Guymon High School starting at 7 PM. Tomorrow is also a full slate of activities, so get out and support our USD 480 students tonight and tomorrow!

Today marks the 50th anniversary of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) of 1975 that helped complete the education system in the USA and gave everyone a seat at the table. We celebrate our incredible students, families, and educators who embody the spirit of IDEA through their dedication, collaboration, inclusion, and the belief that every learner can succeed.

This will be a busy weekend across USD 480! Starting with the LHS Drama Department's Fall Play and the Seymour Rogers dance tonight, followed by a busy Saturday of band auditions, debate, middle school wrestling, and another evening performance of Marriage Wheel at 7 PM at the James W. Maskus Auditorium. The weekend will be capped off with a Sunday matinee finale of Marriage Wheel at 2:30 PM. Good luck to all of our students this weekend! Be sure to get out and support and encourage our students when and where you can this weekend!
