The USD 480 District Office will begin summer hours tomorrow, Monday, May 22nd. Monday-Thursday - 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. - closed 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday - 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We will return to normal hours on Monday, July 31st.
Chromebook check-in for 6th-11th graders will be at the Seward County Activities Center starting Monday, May 22nd at 1:00 P.M. This is for students who will not be attending summer school. Please bring the Chromebook back fully charged.

Today we would like to recognize the May USD 480 Educator of the Month, Erica Arnold. Ms. Arnold is a special education teacher at Sunflower, but is involved in so much more. Her energy and passion are constantly on full display and contagious to anyone who is around her. She made the recent Leadership Day at Sunflower an absolute success by guiding and trusting the Student Lighthouse Team. She is a tremendous asset to Sunflower and USD 480! On the first day of Teacher Appreciation Week we were able to celebrate the April USD 480 Educator of the Month, Mrs. Peterson. Among many other roles, Mrs. Peterson teaches Spanish at LHS. She is loved by her students for the rigor and humor in the classroom. Join us in celebrating Mrs. Peterson for all she does for the betterment of LHS and its students!

Join us in celebrating the February USD 480 Educator of the Month, Ms. Rivas, a 2nd grade teacher from Prairie View Elementary. Ms. Rivas is an energetic, positive, fun, and engaging teacher. She is ALWAYS looking for ways to enhance her instruction to better meet the needs of her students. In BLAST, Ms. Rivas provides afterschool tutoring and extension projects for 2nd and 3rd grade students. This semester for BLAST, she created a kindness challenge for her entire school. We are so lucky to have her at USD 480!
