Today, we would like to recognize and celebrate our School Psychologists and Assessment Specialists. We are so grateful to have these caring individuals working with our students everyday. They provide valuable services that improve the daily lives of our students and keep our staff up to date on support strategies and practices. The USD 480 Board of Education will be meeting at LHS East Campus Cafeteria (C107) today at 6:30 p.m. for a Board Workshop to discuss district plans for 2023-2024 fiscal year and beyond.
At the November 6th BOE Meeting we also recognized the USD 480 November Educator of the Month, Irene Kentner who teaches ELA at EMS. Mrs. Kentner is best described as a veteran teacher with a rookie desire for learning. She's actively involved across EMS and can been seen with her husband Ed at events throughout the district supporting students of all grade levels. REMINDER: NO SCHOOL TOMORROW for Parent Teacher Conferences! All schools will be having conference from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Both middle schools will also have conferences from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. If you don't have a time scheduled, please reach out to your school ASAP.
