Please be advised that Meadowlark Elementary students will not be attending school on Thursday, March 13, 2025 due to Parent-Teacher Conferences. There will be no school on Friday, March 14, 2025. Spring Break will take place next week, from March 17 to March 21. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday, March 24th. Enjoy the break!

The book fair this week has been rescheduled due to shipping delays from last week's weather. The book fair at Meadowlark will now run from March 24th-28th. Another reminder will be sent when it gets closer.

Due to the dangerously low wind chills, USD 480 will have a 2 hour delayed start tomorrow, Thursday 2/13/25. School will start at 10am, there will be no AM Preschool.

This holiday season, the leadership team wanted to show our appreciation for the hard work and dedication of our wonderful staff. As a special treat, each of them was gifted a personalized t-shirt, and they had the opportunity to pick their own design. A few of our nutrition staff chose a shirt with a humorous and very important message: “Let’s eat kids. Let’s eat, kids. Punctuation Saves Lives.”
This morning, our Kindergarten classes had a special visit from Santa Claus via Zoom, all the way from the North Pole. The children were excited to see Santa on the screen, where he greeted them and asked what they were hoping for this Christmas. The virtual visit gave the kids a chance to interact with Santa, share their holiday wishes, and enjoy a fun, festive moment together. It was a memorable experience that brought a little extra holiday cheer to their day.
