Tonight, we celebrated the USD 480 September Educator of the Month, Ms. Nancy Hines! Ms. Hines teaches 8th grade science at EMS and is constantly incorporating new and fun ways to challenge and excite her students. She coaches volleyball, basketball and track, serves on the EMS Leadership Team, and volunteers to work lunch duty every day. We are so lucky to have Ms. Hines at USD 480!

Happy National Custodian Day to this tireless crew! They clean roughly 1,015,738 square feet every day, that is equivalent to cleaning the White House more than 20 times each day. We are so thankful for all this group does to keep our schools clean! Thank you, USD 480 Custodians!

Happy IT Professionals Day to our USD 480 Technology Department! They manage over 7,500 devices throughout the school year and summer. In an increasingly digital world, this department does so much to keep USD 480 ahead of the curve and our students are in a better position because of them. They have streamlined the Chromebook check in and check out processes for our students. They recently installed and now manage over 500 IFPs throughout the district. Their patience and expertise cannot be overstated. We are just so grateful for all the things they do for our staff and students. Join us in celebrating the USD 480 Technology Department!
