For the past few weeks, first-grade students at MacArthur Elementary have been learning about Fables and their morals. On Friday, Sept. 6, their teachers held the "Fable Olympics" to help them review what they have learned.
The Fable Olympic Events included:
Sour Grape Relay - Don't get sour grapes;
Collecting golden eggs - Don't be greedy;
Peter Rabbit - Escape from Mr. McGreggor;
Balancing bucket of milk on your head - Don't catch your chickens before they hatch.
Kudos to these students and to their teachers for finding ways to make learning fun!
