We are incredibly proud to announce the students who have applied and been selected to join our Student Lighthouse Team as part of our Leader in Me program!
These amazing students went through an application and interview process, demonstrating their commitment to living the 7 Habits and showing what leadership looks like in action. Their voices, ideas, and dedication will help guide and inspire our entire school community throughout the year.

REMINDER: There will be NO SCHOOL tomorrow or Friday. Tomorrow will be the last day of Parent-Teacher Conferences starting at 7:30 AM and concluding at 3:30 PM.

BINGO NIGHT!
🏀 A big thank you to the SCCC Men’s Basketball Team for coming to Sunflower and greeting our students as they entered the building! 🌻 Our kids loved this start their day. 💛
All Kindergarten through 2nd-grade students will be dismissed from the gym. Students in grades 3–5 will dismiss as usual. If a student in grades K–2 has an older sibling in grades 3–5, the sibling will also go to the gym for dismissal.

📢 Kindergarten Families
There will be no school for Kindergarten students on Friday, August 29th.
On this day, we will be doing make-up ASQs (Ages & Stages Questionnaires).
If your child has not completed their ASQ, you will receive a call with a scheduled time for them to come in on Friday, August 29th.
👉 If you have other children in grades 1–5, they WILL attend school as usual.

Ese día estaremos haciendo exámenes ASQ de recuperación (Cuestionarios de Edades y Etapas).
Si su hijo(a) no ha completado el ASQ, recibirá una llamada con la hora programada para que venga el viernes, 29 de agosto.
