Our first Mental Health Awareness Champion is Noemi Chavera, translator/interpreter for Liberal High School. Noemi spent many hours translating written information for our recent SuicideTALK as well as partnered with Dr. Bissell to present the 90-minute presentation in Spanish. Noemi has also worked on other mental health awareness programs in collaboration with SWGC. Thank you Noemi for helping us fight mental health stigma with those in our Spanish speaking community.
