We are excited to recognize Kayla Wester as our Teacher of the Month for April! As a highly qualified Kindergarten teacher at Meadowlark Elementary, Mrs. Wester consistently goes above and beyond to support her students, colleagues, and our entire school community. Her dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for others are evident in everything she does.
Mrs. Wester creates a classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported, and capable of success. She maintains high expectations while also providing the structure, patience, and encouragement students need to grow both academically and socially. Through creative instruction, strong routines, and a nurturing classroom atmosphere, she helps build a strong foundation for our youngest learners.
Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Wester is an active leader within our building. She willingly serves on building-wide committees, supports late-start personnel needs, and is a valued member of our culture committee. Colleagues appreciate the kindness and respect she shows to everyone around her, as well as her willingness to share resources, collaborate, and step in to help whenever needed. Her positive attitude and team-first mindset make a lasting impact on both staff and students.
Mrs. Wester’s commitment to serving others extends beyond Meadowlark, as she is also actively involved in her local church and community. Her heart for helping others shines through in all that she does.
