We are proud to recognize Rosi Estrada, who represented our district as the elementary nominee at the Region 1 Kansas Teacher of the Year Awards Banquet held on Saturday, April 18, in Salina, Kansas.
The Kansas Teacher of the Year program, led by the Kansas State Department of Education, is one of the state’s highest honors for educators. It celebrates outstanding teachers who demonstrate excellence in the classroom, leadership within their schools, and a strong commitment to student success.
Rosi’s selection as our district’s elementary representative speaks volumes about the impact she makes every day. Her dedication to her students, high expectations for learning, and ability to build meaningful relationships are what set her apart and make her so deserving of this recognition.
While the event honors finalists from across the region, it also celebrates educators like Rosi who exemplify the very best of the profession. Being chosen to represent our district at this level is an accomplishment in itself and a reflection of her hard work, passion, and commitment to excellence.
We are incredibly proud of Rosi and grateful to have her as part of our school community. She represents the heart of what great teaching looks like, and this recognition is well deserved.
Congratulations, Rosi, on this honor!
