Our Kindergarten students had an exciting morning as the Liberal Fire Department visited Meadowlark Elementary to teach an important safety lesson—how to stay safe in case of a fire!
Firefighters shared age-appropriate tips, like having an escape plan, practicing “Stop, Drop, and Roll,” and remembering not to be afraid of a firefighter in full gear. The students loved seeing the equipment up close, listening to real-life safety stories, and asking lots of thoughtful questions.
The highlight of the day? Watching our brave Kindergartners practice their new fire safety skills with smiles and giggles! The firefighters made learning fun, engaging, and memorable.
We are so thankful to the Liberal Fire Department for taking the time to partner with us and make sure our youngest Meadowlark students know how to stay safe.
