In Ms. Hale's MITEE Monday class, students are exploring the world of multimedia communication by producing YouTube videos that highlight events at Meadowlark and Liberal. This hands-on project helps them develop a variety of skills, ranging from scriptwriting to video editing. The process starts with brainstorming ideas and crafting detailed scripts to ensure their message is clear and creative. Once the scripts are finalized, students practice delivering them with confidence before filming.

Next, students dive into recording and editing their footage. They learn to refine their videos for clarity, pacing, and visual appeal, ensuring the final product is polished and engaging. In addition, they become familiar with the tools necessary to upload their episodes, share them with the community, and connect with their audience through digital platforms.

This project not only hones technical skills but also fosters teamwork and communication. By creating and sharing videos, students gain a deeper understanding of how digital media can be used to inform and connect others, while also boosting their creativity and problem-solving abilities. As they continue to produce new episodes, their skills grow, and each broadcast becomes even more refined. Excellent work on another successful episode!
