Breaking news

In Ms. Hale’s MITEE Monday class, students are diving into the world of multimedia communication by creating YouTube videos to share events happening at Meadowlark and Liberal. Through this hands-on project, they’re learning a wide range of skills, from scriptwriting to video editing. Students begin by brainstorming ideas and writing detailed scripts to ensure they’re conveying their message clearly and creatively. Once their scripts are polished, they practice delivering them with confidence before filming.

The next step involves recording and editing their footage. Students learn how to edit their videos for clarity, pacing, and visual appeal, making sure the final product is polished and engaging. They also gain an understanding of how to use various tools for uploading their episodes, sharing them with the community, and reaching their audience through digital platforms.

This project not only teaches technical skills but also helps students develop important teamwork and communication abilities. By creating and sharing videos, students gain a deeper understanding of how digital media can be used to connect and inform others, all while enhancing their creativity and problem-solving skills. As they continue creating, students are learning from each episode, and with each one, their skills improve, making their future broadcasts even better. Great job on a great first episode!!
