Fowler Named Head Wrestling Coach

Liberal High School is excited to announce the hiring of Michael Fowler as the Head Wrestling Coach of the LHS Wrestling program. Coach Fowler will be replacing Kyle Molina who led the wrestling program since the 2016-17 season.

Coach Fowler is currently a history teacher at Eisenhower Middle School. Coach Fowler’s experience started in high school where he was an undefeated state champion in 1990 at 145lbs and also in college where he wrestled at Western Colorado University. Coach Fowler was a wrestling assistant at LHS from 2005-2009. He then became the head wrestling coach at West Middle School in 2010 which is now Eisenhower Middle School. Coach Fowler has also assisted with the implementation of the girls wrestling program at EMS. Coach Fowler is married to Brandi Fowler who will be in her second year as head girls basketball coach at Liberal High School in 21-22.
