Hovercraft Report

This must be typed.  You only need one report per hovercraft group.  The report is worth half the grade for the hovercraft.  It is due Thursday February 26th.  If you know you are going to be gone that day please make arrangements with me, do not assume I know you are going to be gone.

Cover – Must include your group name and be designed creatively

Section1: Design

Use this section to explain the design choices and changes the hovercraft you made when through.  Why those changes needed to be made?  Why you chose the materials used to construct the hovercraft?

Section 2: Trials

Discuss your testing trials.  Basically this is the journal part of the report.  How your testing trials went.  What problems did you encounter when testing your hovercraft?

Section 3: Competition

Discuss how the competition went.  How fast was your hovercraft?  What problems did you encounter on competition day?  What would you change if you could go back and improve you competition relay?  Please include you class ranking…meaning how you placed in class competition and if you made it to the honors physical science finals, and if you made it to the final round.

Section 4: Blueprint

In this section you need to include your blueprint.  Please make it neat and colorful.  Label your dimensions.  Make sure you include different views…top, side, bottom.  Label your supplies if it is ¾ in plywood…label it that and so on.  For extra credit in this section you may include a digital picture of your hovercraft.

Most of all, be creative!!!!!!
