MAKING ACTIVITIES

1. Select the educational skill your child wants to improve.  Instructions for activities are located in the file cabinets.  What grade level is your child?  What skill will they work on improving?  Activities are divided by grade level and then by skill (Mathematics, Communications, Colors, etc).  Choose the activity you wish to make. 

2. Collect materials needed.   Using the ‘worksheet’, collect the materials needed to make the activity.  As materials are gathered note them on the ‘worksheet’.  This will help during check out..

3. Make the Activity.   Make the activity in the Family Resource Center or take it home to prepare it.  Glue, scissors, markers and other equipment to create your activities are provided.

4. Check out.  Take the worksheet to one of the staff, who will check you out.
