Student Housing

The dorms are located at 2101 North Kansas. There can be two occupants per room with four students per bathroom.

1. Cost- Each student interested in living in the Dorm will be required to make a $150 damage deposit and first and last months' rent of $150 per month for a total of $450. If there is no damage to the school's property during the school year and the door key is returned, this deposit will be refunded in full to the student at the termination of the contract. The damage deposit, in addition to two months rent of $300 total, must be paid to reserve the room. The damage and rent will be refunded in full on request in writing at any time prior to entering school.

2. Rent- The rent is $1250 if paid in full by the day you move in.

Installment rent - $300 rent will accompany the $150 damage deposit (a total of $450). Each month thereafter, the amount of $150 is payable by the 5th of each month until the full contract amount has been paid.

3. The student must furnish his\her own bedding (twin single bed), towel, washcloth, etc. The student may wish to bring:

A. TV or radio (TV Cable hook up will be furnished by the dormitory).

B. Coffee pot

C. Small refrigerator (Dormitory Size)

D. Small microwave

E. Room telephones can be obtained at an additional cost by a separate contract with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.

This is a Burn Free Dorm

(No Smoking, burning of candles or incense, etc...)

4. Supervision will be provided by the dorm parents who live at the dormitory. The students will be responsible for all the general housekeeping and upkeep of their rooms and the dorm's hallways. Unannounced inspections may be held by the administration and dorm parent(s) at least once a week.

5. Lockers and locks are available at the school for work clothes and work shoes. The lockers should be used to prevent excessive soiling of the rooms and carpets.

Lunch

Lunch is served Monday through Friday during the students lunches in the student lounge, also the students may purchase snacks during their break time in the student lounge.
