My name is Brittany Beckley. I am a speech-language pathologist and I have been working at USD-480 since 2009. I service children at MacArthur Elementary, Washington Preschool, West Middle School, and Head Start, with MacArthur being my home school. I received my Bachelor's and Master's degree's in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Oklahoma State University. I am happily married and together we have two beautiful little girls. We also have two furry daughters named Chyna and Xena. I am from Turpin, OK which is also where my husband and I currently live.
I work for the school district as a part-time employee, which means that I only work on Thuesday's and Thursday's all day and then Wednesday mornings until 12:30. I am nationally certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). I am a member of the Kansas Speech Language Hearing Association (KSHA). I maintain licensure through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
I love being a speech-language pathologist and enjoy watching children learn new things. I'm always honored when I can be a part of their learning experience. I also love that I help children become better communicators as this is a major stepping stone in attaining confidence. I am here to teach my children, but without a doubt, I learn from them everyday.
I am always happy to help if you have any questions regarding your child's speech and language development or progress!
