I have been working in the education field since 1981. I graduated from Emporia State University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in education. I earned a Master of Science degree in counseling from Kansas State University in 1986, and my administrative certification from Fort Hays State University in 2001. I have taught third, fourth, and sixth grades, 7-8 grade math, have been a K-6 school counselor, an assistant principal and an intermediate school principal. I have worked in USD 480 since 1997. I am currently the Director of Data and Testing, a position that I began in July, 2014.
I am married, have two grown children, a daughter-in-law, and one handsome grandson. I am an avid KSU Wildcat fan. In my spare time I love to read and ride motorcycles.
